Ruined Wedding pictures $5k price tag INCOMPETENT RIP OFF!!!

We went in and was pitched a fabulous experience and promise for our wedding. The owner took our โ€œfreeโ€ engagement photo and We liked it...

when it was time for the wedding ONE photographer showed up for an event that we paid over 5k for with them. The photographer didnโ€™t speak English very well and there was no discussion about our preference or any shots we wanted. What we got back was an atrocity. No creativity, no classic photos.

None of the bride solo or with her bridesmaids except for at the church. We had over 300 people at our wedding and we got no table shots at the reception, none with the car we rented.... We also got no photos of the women in the bridal party, only the men. To this day we hate our wedding pictures.

It was such a waste of money. After almost a year of waiting for the pictures I flew up from another state to get the photos and they didnโ€™t have everything that we were supposed to get ready. They had the NERVE to try and charge us more for the rest of the roll when our pictures look amateurish and bootleg.

What a rip off!!!! Donโ€™t trust these people.

First off John is a liar, please don't even look at this place just walk and drive right past it. IT WILL BE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU EVER MADE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!.

When they schedule you consultation John talks bad about other photographer and how they cant take photos. Meanwhile his photo and video quality are horrible. He then proceeds to give you a breakdown of his prices which he claims is a wholesale price. Wholesale my a**.Basically forcing couples to sign a contract.

After you sign the contract good luck hearing from him again except to pay the money.

He tells his employees to lie for his. Please please please listen to me and don't book with him please, please!!!!!

John that *** just wants to rob and steal people hard earn money. My fiance and I was passing by and saw his studio and decided to go in oh my god where do I begin with this scamp of John he pushed us into signing a contract with he was only available to us when we are making payments but other than that he wasn't available.

We had our engagement shoot schedule and never called us or anything to confirm. Anyways we were so tired of him we cancel our contract before he messed up our wedding pic. We basically had to pay him 2000 dollars for noting. He is a liar, cheat and {{redacted}}.

I am sorry but please future brides and grooms don't even look at his studio he is a disaster.

He also tells his employees to lie for him. God sees everything JOHN JUST REMEMBER THAT!!!!1

Even if there were actually some people who were satisfied with this company (which I do not believe), the way John speaks to his customers in this forum speaks volumes. Unprofessional.

You can keep your free engagement shoot. I'd rather pay decent and honest people who don't act like toddlers.

I am pleased to say that after posting this review, John has contacted me so that we could work out a solution. He has offered a full refund and i have since contacted this site to have this review removed. I am very pleased that John was able to propose a solution that would work for us both.

Over the past weekend we went to Glamor Me Studios for a maternity shoot. We had an appointment for 11am, but Sonia (John's wife) called saying they would be 30 minutes late.

When John finally did arrive, he advised us that he wasn't feeling well and had a medical condition that was being treated. We empathized and went up for our shoot anyways. I felt as though he was just going through the motion and taking pics. He didn't give us any directions or was supportive in any way.

Apart from this, I came up with a few ideas for him to use. I initially asked him to purchase all of the pics on a disc (as we've done in the past) and paid him the full asking price up front (which was my biggest mistake, i should have only given him a down payment). When we were going through the pics we were so disappointed. Nothing came out the way we expected.

The pics didnt even look professionally done. My husband and i left disappointed. That night, I emailed them asking them to cancel my request for the disc purchase and i would only purchase a few prints from them as it made no sense to buy the whole lot. They refused to issue a refund.

I literally begged him since we didnt need to give him the full payment but we did anyways out of good faith. John ended up agreeing to refund me half of the money providing i take the value package which consists of one shot. My advice is please avoid this place like the plague! I have been a loyal customer of theirs for years and have even recommended family and friends to them.

But over the years their service has diminished tremendously. They do not value their customers. Its all about the bottom line for them.

And they are very shady! Avoid at all costs!

Biggest mistake of my life

My husband and i purchased a package from John also known as glamour me studios. At the time it was a great concept.

The package included a photo album, video, flowers, thank you cards, engagement pictures and save the dates. The package rate totaled about $5400 with taxes. Upon actually leaving a deposit with John we shortly realized that it was a terrible mistake. For our first encounter after our deposit we went into his office to plan or vision of our save the dates.

John recognized my idea and agreed to recreate the save the dates magnet as discussed. When I reviewed the proof, the save the date wasn't as discussed. John had created an autumn themed save the date magnet as opposed to what I originally requested which was a pink background, script writing and diamonds in the background. When my husband and I brought this to Johns attention he got offended.

He advised us that what he created was art and we should be happy with it. We advised him that this was not what we asked for or wanted. He was able to revise the save the date and we were able to come to different alternative, after we created one ourselves and send it to him as a guide to what we wanted. Shortly after our engagement photo shoot, John contacted us advising us that we must pick up on our payments and that we are not paying enough money to him.

A payment was processed each month of $100 or more, as agreed to in our contract. We informed him that we are paying what we can and we are not done working with him. I also noticed a few payment that I made didn't not apply to my invoice. I had to send him numerous emails to have the error corrected.

At the time we hadn't gotten married yet. He informed us he couldn't produce services without all of the money being paid. His attitude made me feel very uneasy like he was hard on times. We have always paid any additional money that was requested for overtime for our photographer for our engagement shoot.

Also our wedding our videographer and photographer stayed for one extra hour that I paid for up front. We paid these fees upfront because we wanted our wedding to be amazing. After our wedding we where given our proofs. I informed John I didn't feel comfortable with paying off the complete balance without a wedding finalized album and video.

Considering our experience up until that point it wasn't an option for us. I sent an email advising John that we didn't feel comfortable with paying off the full balance until we actually received our photo album in our wedding video upon receipt. John advise us that he needed the total balance to produce the album. August 2015 was our last payment totaling $5400 (the full balance paid) A few weeks after the final payment John sent us an email requesting songs and pictures we would like for our video and pictures.

Life got busy with a few transitions so we weren't able to immediately make a decision and send it back. We sent all of the requested information February 2, 2016 via email. I was advised via email it would take six weeks to have a completed wedding album and video. July I was emailed to approve my album.

In September I emailed for an update on the progress but didn't get a response. I called in and was advised by Sonia Johns wife that's the photos and video would be ready in October..Sonia was confused and seemed to not be aware we were waiting on our final video and album. She informed me john wasn't available due to his mothers passing. She informed me the video and album be ready October 2016.

Considering the holidays and sympathy for the families lost I put off contacting glamour me studios up until 1/4/2017 via email. I didn't get a response so I advised my husband to reach out. When my husband contacted john he was applaud but what John told him. John stated that the album cover it's done and the wedding video will take 9 months.

We where blamed not getting our wedding album and Video because we did pay right after our wedding in full. From day 1 our experience has been a horrific nightmare. It is now 2017. We have paid in full since August 2015.We sent all of the requested information since February 2016.

We still have nothing. We have been beyond patent. We paid for our memories only to be stringed along for years. This is unacceptable.

This is exactly why We didn't want to pay off the full balance until I had my album and video. We have been dealing with johns tricks and cons for years now. This experience has been an unfortunate mistake for us. All we wanted from glamour me studios was a beautiful wedding album,video and flowers.

John you have taken advantage of our time patience and kindness.

Buyers to beware. Im heart broken.

I have booked already with John and Glamour me studio for my wedding and I'm getting a bit concerned reading all of these reviews.

He has taken long to finish some projects for me and it very hard to get in contact with sometimes.

I am starting to think whether or not I should have booked with someone else. This is starting to worry my fiancรฉ and me.

I had the opportunity to work with Glamour Me Studio for over a year and what I can I say?

It was the best vendor I had hired for my big day. I was looking for professional work with an affordable price, as do most if not all brides. As I arrived there, my fiance and I were fully informed of various packages that were available. The manager took the time to explain every single detail pertaining to our big day.

Every question was answered and they were available via e-mail or phone until late night. That was a plus for me amoung many other things. They made us feel comfortable and they were flexible enough if we had few changes along the way. Our photographers and videographers, on the big day, were so patient and friendly.

They were able to capture every single spontaneous moment of our wedding. Our friends and family are so amazed at the way our pictures and video turned out. I was so pleased with the service of everyone. I will continue to work with them in the future for other family events like Christening/Maternity shots since Glamour Me Studio does not solely specialize in weddings.

I also use them for my invitations and centerpieces. They were beautiful and we received many compliments from friends and family. Glamour Me Studio is one-stop shop for brides like myself who did not want to use too many vendors.

It worked well for us because it allowed us to reduce that level of stress and anxiety having to go all over the place confirming appointments with too many vendors. Our big day was beautiful and I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality work at an affordable price.

Jealousy is all over and I really feel sorry for the competitors that are writing this, you will never put a good company down. For all reading this go to reputable sites like the Better Business Bureau A+, Wedding Wire 5 stars with 90 reviews, The Knot with 5 stars and two awards in two years in a row.

If you read the reviews on this site which is all ANONYMOUS meaning it can come from anyone like a competitor, which I know it is because all they do is talk about me and not talk about any services. You can keep posting negative things, but you will never put a good company down.

Quality of work is good but your attitude *** I feel sorry for your wife if I were her I would pack my stuff and ran and fast as I can. Obviously these are not competitors that are commenting, no one is saying that your work is *** everyone is just saying for you to fix your attitude and act professional and stop being a money hungry {{REDACTED}} that your are.

Just an outsider looking in but obviously if no one is talking about your services and they are just talking about you and you are the owner, your customer services skills are probably lacking. I read a couple of these reviews and people are saying you take too long with this items to deliver.

That is a problem .

Doesn't matter if your product is great but if you don't treat the customer correctly, that may pose an issue. Wish you all the best.

Instead of posting replies on this website about how good your product is and not realizing that no one is insulting your product but rather they are unhappy with the way you treat them as customers.

I haven't read anyone say your video or photo sucks but they are complaining that once you get your money you don't care about them. you take long with their pictures and photos and I even read some people saying you don't reply to their calls, emails ECT.

This is what you should be worrying about . Stop taking so long with customers products and at least reply to their inquiries in a timely fashion.

Reviews aren't meant to be personal in nature but rather to help a business refine and fix the issues they have. Every business has issues but you say you have been in business so long and have yet to perfect timeliness and efficiency as well as customer services.

Fix that ...... please feel free to reply to my review because I can go into this in much more detail.

I am a past customer of yours and I haven't never written a bad review about your product and liked your work. but you have taken over a year to give me my albums and videos. The only reason I see these reviews now is because I recommended you to a friend and they decided to do some research before coming to you and they found this website which they brought to my attention and asked if its true that you don't reply to customers and take long with their products. and I had to honestly tell them that you do take much longer that's almost any studio out there...

my gf was pressured into signing a conditional contract in which she gave a 3 dollar deposit and john is refusing to refund her, let her out of the contract while also threatening legal credit bureau action on her. Why, I don't know but I don't like it and wanted to give it light.

she signed the contract on a Thursday and tried to opt out the following Monday so its not like she dragged it out or john did much work towards our wedding. I have a amour problem with this as we were trying to business with good intention and thought that he had our best interest at heart but he proved otherwise immediately.

Understanding this is a business if we have buyers remorse one day later, business day that is, I don't see the issue letting us out of this 3 dollar contract. He will get not another dime from us and I aim to warn others about him and his shady practices.

Capturing my special day.

Val from glamour me studio was the perfect photographer for our big day! I gladly refer them to my closest friends.

It was such a surreal day and there was so much going on that it was hard to slow down and take everything in. I am so thankful I had Val there. I wanted someone to capture every moment, with an almost photojournalist style and he did just that. I have so many pictures to look back on that take me back to every moment.

He was absolutely wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He was very prompt in communicating with me, open to any of my crazy ideas, and on my wedding day he was there,on time, but I hardly noticed him. He was by my side the entire day and I have the most beautiful pictures to show for it. Additionally, my wedding was outdoors and he captured everything really well considering our surroundings went from direct sunlight, to nighttime with disco lights and all!

they also had all of our pictures to us while we were still on our honeymoon! Such a great surprise to have so soon.

My husband and I spent hours looking at all the pictures in awe and, of course, laughing our tails off at some of the wild times. Thank you Val and everyone at glamour me studio for capturing my special day

Can't stop talking about them

I was really blown away with the work I have received, all my relatives keep talking about how nice my album looks. Not everyone saw the video, but the ones that seen it loved it.

Just finish doing my maternity shots with John still haven't seen them yet but I am sure they are going to be great. They are considered our family photographer, everyone we know uses them and they always come through. Can't wait for my little one to come out and get his pictures taken. You can just call me addicted to pictures.

I just love taken them and getting them. If you are looking for great photographers look no further, these are the people to go with.

I read the reviews on this site and see that it is not fair for for John name to be blotched that way, it doesn't seem to be customers writing the reviews it seems like his competitors have it out for him. My family and I have been using this guy for years and we never had the problems that these people seem to have.

When you visit the store see for yourself before you believe what the site is trying to say about him. This company produces their own albums and video.

I have gotten my video in less than 3 months and my album around the same time. Keep up the good work John I am definitely vouching for you.

sorry to anyone reading this but I completely disagree with this review.

Don't believe it. I once had an interaction with this guy John and also did not book.

He makes you wait forever when you make an appointment.

Theirs something unprofessional about him.

I spoke to some friends that used him and they also told me that he will tell you it will only take three months for your albums and video and then it takes longer than a year.

Complete BS...... he then tries to blame it on the customer.....
